OUR STORY
How It Started
It started when Rochelle was told about a '100 Women' giving circle in Canada — and learned the concept was taking root in communities around the world. She recognized right away that the same model of pooled giving could work here in Alameda.
Together with Louise and Jackie, the vision came to life. In 2027, 100 Women of Alameda will hold its first gathering, establishing a grassroots model of collective giving right here at home. By honoring the accessible entry point of the original concept while welcoming greater generosity, they hope to invite even more neighbors to take part in making a local impact.
We're proud to be part of a global movement of women-led giving circles. To learn more about the parent organization, visit the 100+ Who Care Alliance.
